Taiji (Tai Chi), Qigong & Daoyin
Wareham Multi-Service Center

  • Are you looking for a non-impact exercise art that is gentler on your body especially the joints but will help you learn balance, improve coordination, enhance circulation, condition the fascia, and increase muscular strength?
  • Do you feel stressed out from work related pressures or family issues but don't like to take medication to relax you?
  • Would you rather get energized through energy cultivation exercises than use over the counter stimulants?
  • Do you want to cross-train in a soft martial art to balance out your hard martial arts?

If the answer is YES to any of the above, then the Tai Chi, Qigong & Daoyin program could be just what you're looking for. After all, the body is also fueled by motion, intent and breath, or the combination thereof, which are all critical aspects of Tai Chi, Qigong and Daoyin practice.

In the regular classes held on Wednesdays at the Wareham Multi-service Center, Yang style Tai Chi (Taiji) is taught in 24-form, 37-form, double Yang form, long-sword form and broad-sword form. Also included are Qigong and Daoyin exercises such as Zhan Zhuang, Baduanjin, Liangong Shibafa, Pingshuaigong, Zhineng Qigong and Taiji Daoyin amongst others.

If you're looking for an introduction to Tai Chi and Qigong, see the free meetups as listed in the associated Meetup group, Tai Chi (Taiji), Qigong & Daoyin on SouthCoastFor other beneficial information on Tai Chi and Qigong, please check the Some Reasons for Practicing Tai Chi and Qigong meetup page. Lastly, you could always send an email to the instructor, Colman Fink at or call him at 508-322-1299.
